Green
Jalen Green was selected second overall in the 2021 draft by the Houston Rockets. He grew up in Fresno, CA and has close ties to the community there. Green’s Filipino heritage is also very important to him, and he has traveled to and played in the Philippines in the past. He was ranked by ESPN as the #1 basketball recruit in the class of 2020 and chose to forgo college to enter the NBA’s G League in its inaugural season. He has won three gold medals with the United States at the junior level and was named MVP of the 2018 FIBA Under 17 World Cup.
In his first season in the NBA, Green dominated on the court while continuing to make an impact in the Houston and Fresno communities. He recently hosted two Thanksgiving shoe giveaways and a youth basketball camp, which he plans to make a yearly event. He was selected as an NBA All-Star Rising Star and a dunk contest participant. Outside of basketball, Green’s passions include fashion, giving back to his community, and leading the charge in the crypto and NFT world. His current partnerships are Adidas, Coinbase, Invictus, 2K, and Top Shot.
